Earthquake disaster

My thoughts go out to all those affected by the earthquake disaster that hit Asia recently.

May the worst be past, and the road to recovery be a short and smooth one.

Looking forward, I think a better monitoring, detection and warning system ought to be put in place to minimise adverse effects of such occurences in future.
